"'In the last days,' God says, 'I will pour out my Spirit on all people.'"-Acts 2:17 📖 ✨

As an Apostolic congregation, we take these words to heart. To be an Apostolic people is to be a people of the Outpouring...believing that the Holy Spirit moves through every person, regardless of who they are or who they love.

🌈 Regarding the Rainbow:
Some say the rainbow has been "stolen," but we believe you cannot steal what God has freely given as a sign of hope. In the Bible, the rainbow was a promise that God would never again allow destruction to have the final word.

By flying the Pride flag, we aren't "taking" the rainbow; we are honoring it's original purpose; as a symbol of God's enduring covenant with all living things. It is a reminder that there is no "us" and "them" in the Kingdom of God- only a beautiful, multi-colored "us."

We acknowledge Pride Month because the same Spirit that fell at Pentecost is still falling today - breaking down barriers, healing hearts, and calling us to love without limits. 🕊️ 🌈

To our LGBTQ+ family: You are part of God's promise. You are a reflection of the Spirit's work. You are home.

At New Covenant Church of Princeton, we believe God's love is for ALL people, with absolutely no exceptions. As a radically inclusive, Apostolic community, we believe that you are wonderfully made in the image of God.

Starting off PRIDE month doesn't mean leaving behind the moving of the Spirit or the power of anointed worship. Instead, it means gathering in a safe, affirming space where you can lift your hands, praise freely, and be exactly who God created you to be!
