Our Annual Mawlid An-Nabi was the perfect way to end our 2026 academic year.
A big thank you to Ammar Charaf, our NJ based Nasheed artist, honored speaker, Dr. Ebad Rahman, Associate Dean of Religious Life and Muslim Chaplain, Columbia University, and graduating seniors Yahya Habib and Sarina Hassan for their reflections on the Prophet ﷺ.
We couldn’t help but reflect multiple times throughout the night on this amazing tradition started by Imam Sohaib Sultan, Allah Yarhamo, and how much we felt the baraka (blessings) of his legacy till this day.
Alhamdulillah- all our love to such a beautiful community, our guests from in and out of town, everyone behind the scenes who made a wonderful event and year possible, and students who were able to attend (as well as those who couldn’t attend due to exams and end of the year conflicts).
You are all in our hearts and duas 🤍
Help us continue to provide our current and future students, our community, and all of you and your families with impactful, meaningful, and ongoing and uninterrupted engagement and programming throughout the year. Help us follow in the footsteps of our Beloved Nabi ‎ﷺby leaving a legacy of service.

It was a beautiful day for a tour of Princeton University given by our Muslim Student Association and the Muslim Life Program during Princeton Preview month!
Our own Princeton students hit it out of the park by showing our guests around the beautiful campus lined with blooming magnolia trees, ivy covered historical buildings, and intricately carved stone arches.
We showed them the plethora of halal options during lunch at Mathey Hall’s private dining room, and talked with our Muslim Chaplain, Imam Khalil Abdullah, and Assosicate Dean of Diversity and Inclusion, Karin Firoza, about what it means to be Muslim on campus, how we show up to pray at Murray Dodge, and what Ramadan feels like for students and community members.
Our last stop was a Q&A panel in the architecture building where our Princeton students fielded questions about how it feels to be Muslim facing in a university, how to balance their faith and studies for the first time being away from home, and directed them to resources on how to get more information about the application process.
Most of all we are so grateful for our Princeton students and Dean Firoza who took time away from family, studying, and resting on a Saturday to invest in prospective students and the future of Muslim students at Princeton ✨

We are so grateful for Shaykh Bowers for an incredibly inspiring weekend learning about the Prophetic Character and the book “Al-Shama’il Al-Muhammadiyya” by Imam Al-Tirmidhi.
Reflecting back, we have so much more to learn about the relationships, gentleness, steadfastness, and care the Prophet SAW embodied. Every single interaction of his was laced with intentional love and respect.
Looking forward to many more opportunities to learn from Shaykh Bowers! Our hearts are so full Alhamdulillah.
