Are you spiritually asleep while physically present? This powerful question challenged us Wednesday night as we explored what it means to truly seek God's presence—not just on Sundays, but every single day.

We can't treat seeking God like a light switch, turning it on at church and off when we leave. The early believers devoted themselves to prayer, fellowship, and the apostles' teaching DAILY. They stayed in one accord, seeking the Holy Spirit together, and God added to their numbers daily those who were saved.

The application is simple but profound: seek His presence and obey His word. When we come together in corporate prayer and worship, unified by the Holy Spirit, God moves powerfully. We're not here for performance—we're here for participation. Let's stop being spectators and start being devoted followers who pursue God's presence continuously.

Join us as we grow together in this walk. There are no big I's and little U's—we're all in this together, seeking more of Him every day.

What are you carrying today that you were never meant to bear? Today's message challenged us to examine a powerful question: Are we truly following Christ, or are we asking Him to follow us?

Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 16:24-27 that following Him means denying ourselves, taking up our cross, and surrendering completely. Not just giving up things, but surrendering our right to be ruler of our own lives. The cross isn't a piece of jewelry—it's a symbol of dying to self and moving forward without turning back.

Here's the truth that hit home: On judgment day, Christ will evaluate us based on what we've done. Not to earn salvation, but to reveal whether we were true disciples. Would there be enough evidence to convict you of being a Christian? Does your life, your home, your words, and your relationships show that Christ is first?

Lay down what you're holding onto today. Pick up your cross. Follow Him wherever He leads. What you give to Him is never truly lost, and what you do for Him brings eternal reward.
