Where is your treasure? That is the question Pastor brought to us this Sunday from Matthew 6:19-24. Jesus reminds us that what we treasure reveals where our heart truly is. Earthly things are temporary, but what we invest in God's kingdom lasts forever.

It is easy to say Jesus is first, but our calendars, our checkbooks, and our priorities tell the real story. Pastor challenged us to ask ourselves: what occupies our thoughts, what receives our attention, and what would be the hardest thing to give up?

You cannot serve two masters. Jesus is not asking for a portion of your life. He wants your whole heart. When you put him first, he promises to bless you beyond what you could do on your own.

Today we remember September 11th — a day marked by deep loss, heroic sacrifice, and national sorrow. As we honor the lives taken and the families forever changed, we turn our hearts to the comfort and hope found in God’s Word. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18 (NIV)

On a day when darkness tried to divide us, God’s nearness became our strength. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the neighbors who cared for one another, and the unity that rose from tragedy.“God is our refuge and strength, an ever‑present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1 (NIV)

Even in moments of fear and uncertainty, God remains faithful. His presence sustains, His peace comforts, and His love restores.As we reflect today, may we continue to be people of faith in God, hope, and compassion — shining the light of Christ in a world that still longs for healing. We will never forget.

What are you preparing for? This week's message from Matthew 26:14-19 brought us face to face with one of the most powerful contrasts in Scripture — while Judas prepared to betray Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, the disciples prepared the Passover, and Jesus prepared to go to the cross for you.

Three people. Three preparations. Three very different hearts.

The question is not whether you are preparing for something — you are. The real question is whether you are preparing your heart for Jesus. Are you allowing God to work on the inside, or just keeping up appearances on the outside? Jesus knew the cross was coming and went anyway — because he knew you needed a Savior.
