In Romans 3:13-20, Paul convincingly concludes his argument that we are sinners in need of God's grace. We will study those verses this Lord's Day morning at 10:00 o'clock.
We also hope you will join us for our church dinner following the Morning Worship! We plan to begin the afternoon worship meeting at 12:45 PM; we will sing some psalms and share devotional thoughts on Psalm 12.

Although the Jewish nation has many advantages, sadly they haven't used them. And as Paul winds down his argument, he will show from God's Word that everyone is guilty before God. We will examine that this Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. At 4:00 PM, we will continue our study in the Book of Hebrews. We invite you to remain after the afternoon Worship Meeting today and join us for ice cream and fellowship!

There are many today who think that the Jewish people no longer have a place in God's plans; even after the founding of the church, Paul rejected that teaching, which continues today as "replacement theology" and other false beliefs. There are others who disagree with the Apostle Paul about the Gospel of grace: they think their religion will get them into heaven. So they presented arguments to Paul; he answered them all in Romans 3:1-8. I hope you will listen to this important message.

Paul faced criticism for teaching that the religion of neither Jews nor Gentiles will save a soul. We will see how his answer honors the Jews and defends God's character as we begin Romans 3 this Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. At 4:00 PM, we will see the amazing truth that Jesus is not ashamed to call us His brethren (Hebrews 2:11-13). This meeting will be followed by our Fifth Sunday Sundaes! Please join us!

There is a difference between being religious and being truly saved. The religious person emphasizes who he is and what he has done for the Lord; the saved person looks solely at Who Jesus is and what He has done for him. I hope the Lord will use this message from 5/24/26 in your life.

Part of the congregation of the church in Rome was Jewish. The Jews were religious, not as outwardly sinful as others; and there are obviously Jews and Gentiles today who view their religion as their ticket to heaven. We will look at this group this Sunday morning in Romans 2. We invite you to join us at 9:00 AM for Sunday School and 10:00 AM for our Morning Worship Meeting.

The Bible speaks of a day of judgment in two ways: the day when He punishes the unbelieving world that is alive when Jesus comes again; and the day when all will stand before the Lord as our Judge. Paul describes that in Romans 2; that will be our study at 10:00 AM this Sunday morning.

We invite you to join us!

We often judge others; that judgment usually makes us look pretty good as we point out their guilt and ignore our own. But Romans 2 says that we are inexcusable; we will not have a defense before God without Jesus Christ as our Savior. If you are able to listen, I hope this message will challenge you & make you thankful for the salvation provided by the Lord Jesus.

The tendency to defend ourselves is addressed by Paul in Romans 2. We point out the guilt of others & ignore our own. But as Paul says: we are inexcusable; we do not have a defense before God without Christ. We will study the opening verses of Romans 2 this Sunday morning at 10:00 AM.
Following the Morning Worship Meeting, the men will honor our ladies with a special dinner ! We hope you will join us in Cooley Hall for wonderful food and fellowship. We will conclude our day together by singing Psalms and spending some time in Psalm 11. We hope you will stay for this meeting after the Fellowship Dinner.

We tend to look at some sins as worse than other sins. But God looks at each one of us as sinners in need of His saving grace. We completed Romans 1 this past Sunday by looking at "The Sins of the Rest of Us." I hope you are able to listen, and that the message will be a blessing to you.
