Viney Grove is putting together cleaning/flood buckets for UMCOR for Ingathering this year. Please look over the list of items. You can assemble your own bucket, go in with a few others to make one or you can bring in items and we will use them to assemble buckets at the church.

Thank you for your help. These buckets will be used to support disaster relief in our area and around the world.

Join us beginning Sunday September 13 at 4 pm for the book study on
The Good and Beautiful God by James Bryan Smith. This study will be led by Pastor Dee Harper and Shane Miller, who is a teacher and has been blessed by this book and by other teachings by Dr Smith

James Bryan Smith is a professor of Spiritual Formation at Friends University and serves as the director of the Apprentice Institute. He also hosts The Apprentice Podcast which also focuses on spiritual formation.

"This deep, loving and transformative book will help you discover the narratives that Jesus lived by--to know the Lord he knew and the kingdom he proclaimed--and to practice spiritual exercises that will help you grow in the knowledge of our good and beautiful God."
