This Youth Praise and Worship camp is designed to focus on a standard contemporary worship service. The instrumentation of the praise and worship groups in this camp will include; lead guitar, rhythm guitar, keyboard, bass, drums, and Vocalist. This week long camp will provide instruction in many different areas of music theory, music performance, and a class in scripture study. Read the class des

Class Descriptions


Song Writing


During Song Writing Class, each group will come up with their original praise and worship song. Using the tools they have received from attending the other classes given during this camp, each group will come up with their own riffs, chord progressions, melodies, and counter melodies. All musical parts for drums, bass, guitar 1 & 2, keyboard, and vocals, will be creatively written by each individual member. Performance Rehearsal


In performance rehearsal each student will spend time learning how to play praise and worship songs that have been written by world know artists. They will also work on preparing to perform their own original song during the concert finale at the end of camp. Art


Art class is the place each group will create their own logo, posters, group art, t-shirts, band bracelets, etc. Each student will base their art on chosen bible passages and groups original song lyrics. Video and Recording


Video and Recording class is for each group to brainstorm and align the content of their music video in correlation with the bible verse and lyrics of their original songs. There will also be a recording studio set up for each student to practice recording their instrument during this class. Bible Study / Song Lyric Analysis



During this class each group will choose bible verses for the content of lyrics, video, and art. Once the verses are chosen each group will work on expanding their knowledge of Gods word and come up with a short spoken testimony to intro their song. Video

During days 4 and 5 each group will be shooting their own music video. Recording

During days 4 and 5 each group will be recording their own original praise and worship song.

1 song edited. 3 more to go. We are working on the DVD and CD daily. I will post soon when they are available. If you or your child was apart of the camp you will get 1 copy of each. If you would like extra copies or just want to see what we did during the camps, put one on order.

It's time for the 8 to 12 year old camp to start Monday morning at 8 am. Make sure to bring your own lunch and be ready to Praise! See you there.

Don't forget.... The 13 - 18 age Camp starts this Monday 8 am. July 8th. Be here at the church early to register. 1401 E. Parks Prairie Grove Ar. Fee is $85... This will be a week you will not forget! Bring your instruments if you have them and if you do not we will provide. Also bring a sack lunch. See you Monday.
