Joyce May Wirgau 🌷

This Lovely Lady’s funeral was beautiful just like her! Her Memorial Service was solely arranged by her family, and was full of the love and adoration that she instilled in those she knew, and cared for.
Her beautiful smile was shown in every picture taken of her, which was shared to the congregation by her family today, and if we didn’t know… We know now, she was a master at keeping family ties, sewn together with the fabrics of her love.
A quilter, a seamstress, a daredevil, a lady, a mother, and aunt! She ment so much to everyone what a beautiful combination! Ninety Seven years of blessings. Thank you Joyce, you’ve earned your place in heaven. You’ve left sweet memories with us that will never be forgotten.

………….

When Elijah reached the point where he said, ā€œLord, I’ve had enough. Take my lĀ”fe,ā€ God didn’t shame him for being exhausted.

God met him there.

Elijah had just experienced a major victory, yet he still collapsed under the weight of fear, pressure, and emotional exhaustion. That should remind us that strong faith does not make someone immune to depression, anxiety, or despair. You can love God deeply and still reach a place where your mind and body feel completely worn down.

God’s response matters.

He didn’t lecture Elijah.

He didn’t tell him to pray harder.

He didn’t call him weak.

He allowed him to rest. He gave him food. He restored his strength. Then, when Elijah was ready, God spoke to him and reminded him that his life still had purpose.

Sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is sleep, eat, breathe, ask for help, and stop pretending you’re okay.

Depression is real.

Anxiety is real.

Emotional exhaustion is real.

But so is God.

So is hope.

So is healing.

So is the possibility that the chapter making you want to give up is not the chapter where your story ends.

If you’re struggling today, please don’t confuse exhaustion with failure. Don’t make a permanent decision in the middle of a temporary storm. Reach out to someone safe. Let people help carry the weight. God may not remove everything overnight, but He can meet you in the darkness and give you enough strength for the next step.

Elijah thought his life was over. God knew there was still more ahead. You may feel finished, but God may still be restoring you for the purpose you can’t see yet. Hold on.

A wonderful time was had at the Leer Heritage event held this past Sunday, at the Leer Lutheran Church in Posen MI

A fabulous presentation by Our very own Historian Linda Pletcher. She has a magical way of weaving the threads of our familys stories together, making us realize we are all connected somehow.

The bake sale was yummy, and a beautiful craft Sale, followed by a tasty Hobo dinner. Nobody went away hungry, and everyone was smiling. I’d say it was a wild successšŸ˜ŠšŸ‘šŸ»

Please come and enjoy a meal, and celebrate the history of Leer!😁

Update:
Blue has been relocated to his new forever home. If you were considering adopting him, thank you so much for your consideration. We are all hoping Blue has a wonderful life with his new familyšŸ’•šŸ¶

This little guy’s name is Blue. Hes the sweetest little doggie.

Blue’s
birth date is May 15,2024

He currently lives at a groomers dog Kennel in Edwardsburg Michigan.

There’s a reason he’s alive! He is still here, because he wants to be in your world, and give you lots of doggie kisses.
Blue has had a hard life up till now, But he continues to live, and Love. He’s looking for his forever home. He is a cattle herder, and loves the farm life. He’s looking for someone to take him in, and He’s happy to help you on your farm.

If you think you can give him a home, the groomer will bring him North, the end of September. She’s giving him love and care till then. Blue will be in the Long Rapids area then, and if you think you might like to have him, you will need to have a visit with the groomer 1st.

This lil guy has stolen her heart, she’s very picky about who takes him. He’s free, the only price you’ll need to pay, will be your love and care for BluešŸ’•

This is her words in a text:

if anyone IS interested i want to have a convo with them when i bring him up there and exchange numbers with them. if anything happens and it doesnt work out i will come back immediately and take him back!!! he is a very sweet boy and loves kisses. he needs lots of exercise

Sincerely,
Samantha Wilson
