We are known for providing high quality educational programs for children and youth, from our award winning Wednesday night Christian Education program to our 4 Star Rated Preschool. Our Youth Group has always been strong and vigorous, a perfect place for young people to wrestle with their faith. For 70 years the church has been central to the life of the Simonsdale neighborhood, which was origina

lly established to house families as they moved to Portsmouth in order to work in the Naval Shipyard during WWII. The church was at the center of life for these families and this ethos continues today.
