Sunday, Pastor Brian walked us through the two resurrections that both believers and unbelievers will face. The resurrection of life and the resurrection of judgment.

As followers of Christ, we can stand in truth, knowing that we will be raised to eternal life in Jesus Christ.

And that’s what we should be focused on. Believing that Jesus rose from the dead, living with a clear conscience before God, and helping our families prepare for eternity.

Scripture never hides that battles will come—both physical and spiritual. But because of Christ, we have the power through prayer to break every stronghold that comes against us. 🙏🏻

In Him, we find our peace. So we trust:

• My life is in His hands
• God has a plan for me
• Everything is going to be alright

Because God is working everything I walk through for His glory and my purpose.

When I choose to pray and turn to God in difficult moments, the Lord reminds me that as I become more like Christ, my life can and will glorify Him no matter what I face.

“For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭10‬:‭3‬-‭5‬ 📖

Throughout Paul’s ministry in Acts, we see that even when he didn’t know what was coming next, he trusted God with his life. He understood that his life was fully in the hands of a sovereign God.

This shows us that the key to our connection with God is learning to trust Him with our lives in every situation, even when we can’t see what’s ahead.

Because the same God who stood with Paul is the same God who stands with us. 🙌🏼

“The following night the Lord stood by him and said, ‘Take courage, for as you have testified to the facts about me in Jerusalem, so you must testify also in Rome.’”
