Hello MDC! Because of the forecast, a likely parking ban, and general concerns about safe travel tomorrow morning, the elders have decided to cancel our in-person worship gathering on 2/9. Instead, we are going to offer a very simplified "gathering" over Zoom for those who are interested: at 10 AM, Joel will give the planned sermon (from Matthew 5.31-37), followed by opportunity for some questions and discussion.

Church canceled March 24! Hello everyone, we are getting word of widespread power outages and a few neighboring cities have requested that people limit travel because of downed trees and road conditions, so we have officially decided to CANCEL the gathering tomorrow AM (March 24). Please feel free to help us get the word out, but stay home and stay safe! It’s a great opportunity to celebrate Palm Sunday with prayer.

Please join us for Good Friday as we gather with our friends at Christ the Redeemer and also Sunrise Easter service next Sunday at the East End In Portland, followed by a breakfast potluck at the Root Cellar.

Church is ON today.

Church today will be on the normal schedule at 10am. Setup crews should arrive at 9am as that is when the parking ban ends.

We encourage anyone that is uncomfortable driving to stay home. If you are scheduled for a volunteer shift, please contact your team leader so other arrangements can be made for coverage.
