This weekend, we rejoice and give thanks to God as we celebrate the Confirmands of St. John’s Lutheran Ministries on their Confirmation and first reception of Holy Communion.

Through God’s Word and the work of the Holy Spirit, you have been strengthened in the faith given to you in Baptism. As it is written, “Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life” (Revelation 2:10).

May you continue to grow in Christ, remain steadfast in His promises, and find joy in receiving His true body and blood for the forgiveness of your sins.

Congratulations on this important milestone in your walk with the Lord! You are in our prayers today and always.

We invite you to join us in worship at 10:30 a.m. as we celebrate these Confirmands and give thanks for God’s continued work among us.
