☦️ Third Sunday of Great Lent – Adoration of the Holy Cross

Today we pause in the middle of the Great Lent to venerate the Holy Cross — a reminder of Christ’s sacrifice, love, and victory over death. Just as the Cross strengthened the faithful on the journey to Golgotha, it strengthens us on our own Lenten path of prayer, repentance, and hope.

May the Cross give us courage to carry our burdens, faith to continue the journey, and peace in our hearts.

“Before Thy Cross we bow down in worship, O Master, and Thy Holy Resurrection we glorify.”

Yesterday, Fr. Job spent time with our children explaining the meaning of the icon of the Sunday of the Prodigal Son.
Through the icon, the kids learned about God’s endless love, forgiveness, and the joy of welcoming everyone home with open arms.

A beautiful reminder that no matter how far we wander, our Heavenly Father is always waiting for us with mercy and love. 🤍☦️
