St Peter Portage We are a caring community of believers serving in the name of Jesus. We are all about what Jesus has done for us on the Cross.

We are people from Porter and Lake County Indiana who strive to serve the region where we live. We are a caring community of believers that strives to worship God with excellence, encourage and lift one another up, and fulfill the needs of our community. We do this through worship, weekly Bible studies, Sunday School, community dinners and food drives. As we are filled up in worship and study, we

are empowered and emboldened to live for others outside of our doors. We strive to live according to God’s word while constantly drawing from the well of forgiveness found in Jesus when we fail. Worship with us Sunday's at 9:00 am & 11:00 am.

The funeral service for Mark Krill will be on Saturday, September 19th at 11am with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will take place on Friday, September 18th from 6-8pm. Both events will take place at St Peter Lutheran Church. 6540 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368

Our prayers are with the Sopher family.

Visitation for Rollin will be Wednesday, September 2 from 10:00am - 2:00pm, with a time of remembrance beginning at 1:00pm, at Hillside Funeral Home, 8941 Kleinman Road, Highland, Indiana 46322. Funeral service is Thursday, September 3 at 11:30am, officiated by Paster Brian Doel of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Portage, Indiana, also at Hillside Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Celebrate the life of Rollin Sopher, Jr. and join others in sharing memories, stories, and condolences.
