Praying for all the unspoken prayer requests from among us. Lord, You alone know the deep thoughts and even painful thoughts that go through our minds as we ponder sometimes this life, the fate of our families and loved ones, the financial situations, the health situations and so many things that we can't even voice these prayers out loud. We pray for those who grieve, we pray for those who love deeply, we pray for those who are caregivers and those that need care. Jesus, we are Yours, we love and need You greatly, we want to be used by You. We ask that You take care of all the unspoken, heartfelt cries from Your people today. The people need a Word to go on, a Word to press through with, we need You.
Praying for all who need healing in any way today and wrap Your big Father arms around them. In Jesus’ Precious name I pray adding prayers for some special moms today.

I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

It’s Thursday and we are focusing on recovery and all that entails today. Praying for those who are just beginning a new way of life, today. Praying that they will have the courage to take that next, best step, to do it one day at a time, maybe even an hour or minute at a time.
Here is a beautiful verse from The Passion Translation, Ephesians 6:10: “Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.”
Today’s Reminder
When cruel words fly from the mouth of another person, drunk or sober, Al-Anon helps me remember that I have choices. Perhaps I can say the Serenity Prayer to myself, or refuse to discuss the topic any further. I can listen without taking the words personally; I can leave the room, change the subject, make an Al-Anon call, or explore other alternatives. My sponsor can help me to discover options that seem right for me.

It’s Wednesday and this is the day that the Lord has made, we WILL rejoice and be glad in it. Praising the Lord and the word today to encourage is, "Don't let the devil steal what the Lord has shown you."

We are praying for those who are sick or are recovering from or having surgery. We pray for single parents and their children, also. So many needs and so much love needs to be extended. What can each of us do to make the world a better place?

It’s Tuesday and we’re praying for families of prisoners today. I continue to add prayers for Carol and Gene Kent’s son, Jason, to be released. So, we will look with eyes of faith regardless of what our lives or our children's lives look like. We will believe, we will love and we will encourage, so the enemy cannot come to steal, kill and destroy what the Lord our God has put into our hearts. Though He slay us, we will still trust in Him, Jesus Christ the one true God.
We proclaim that we will live and not die and have the mercies of the Lord. We say we are the head and not the tail, we are overcomers through His WORD, we will take the next best step to be a better "us." If all we can do to press on is, that next baby step, well we have to start somewhere. We are forgiven, loved and blessed.

It’s said that Dolly Parton prayed this each day, ““I pray every day that God will let me be a light in the world and that He’ll let me shine and radiate with His love and light and uplift people and to glorify Him. That’s my prayer, every day.”

And it's Monday and that's the day we pray for our family and extended families, friends. I have already covered a lot of you with prayer and petitions today and also pray for many FB groups.
When I opened a book that was sent to me by a grieving mother, the reading that was there was so perfect for where I am in my grief. I know the Lord is with me, even if I feel only pain.
Joyce Meyer says, "When you see a need, don't ever think that there is nothing you can do, because you can always pray."

Many people in our families are hurting, emotionally, physically and financially. Lord, we ask that You be over all that concerns us and our loved ones. We ask for special favor, blessing and a touch from You. We thank you Lord, that though we think that we can't take that next step forward You will help us. Today we thank You for small blessings and mighty ones also. As we learn to lean on You, our journey will be stronger and our burdens lighter.

For a lot of us, our lives have taken turns that we never dreamed they would. But if we take the next, small right step towards Jesus our destiny will become clear over time. I’m adding special prayers for healing of bodies also, that we will have health to serve the Lord. I pray for our nation and those in positions to help others. We praise You Lord and are grateful ahead of time for Your goodness towards us, but we also beg for Your mercy and grace for this day.

Let's call on Him for this beautiful Sunday. Lord, help us fulfill our destiny in You. Be with those who are without hope, today. Be with those who are lonely and whose life hasn’t turned out as they’d hoped. Remind us all of the great memories and just the miracle of living one more day with one more chance of our dreams coming true. Make this a week of gratitude and show us how to live in Your calling, please.

Today we pray for the deep, loving and sometimes painful unspoken prayer requests. Lord go before us, behind us and cover us all with Your blood, healing and love in Jesus' name. Help us to know what it means to be the first one to move in ways of love.

Praying for all those who need recovery, or who are working recovery and those who love them today. From the book The Language of Letting Go:
Survivor Guilt
We begin recovering. We begin taking care of ourselves. Our recovery program starts to work in our life, and we begin to feel good about ourselves.
Then it hits. Guilt.
Whenever we begin to experience the fullness and joy of life, we may feel guilty about those we've left behind - those not recovering, those still in pain. This survivor guilt is a symptom of codependency.
We may think about the husband we've divorced who is still drinking. We may dwell on a child, grown or adult, still in pain. We may get a phone call from a non-recovering parent who relates his or her misery to us. And we feel pulled into their pain.
How can we feel so happy, so good, when those we love are still in misery? Can we really break away and lead satisfying lives, despite their circumstances? Yes, we can.
And yes, it hurts to leave behind those we love. But keep moving forward anyway. Be patient. Other people's recovery is not our job. We cannot make them recover. We cannot make them happy.
We may ask why we were chosen for a fuller life. We may never know the answer. Some may catch up in their own time, but their recovery is not our business. The only recovery we can truly claim is our own.
We can let go of others with love, and love ourselves without guilt.
Today, I am willing to work through my sadness and guilt. I will let myself be healthy and happy, even though someone I love has not chosen the same path.

Thank You, Lord, for a new week with new hopes and promises. I’m so grateful I got to spend some extra family time with my oldest daughter, Regina and my beautiful granddaughter, Aubrey. I am so proud of the work they are allowing God to do in their lives. Winning Women for Christ Retreat is a tradition I try to keep and they will carry on.
It’s Monday and we pray for families. Lord, we sometimes wish we had perfect families. We sometimes wish we belonged to the other families, and we sometimes wish we could help our family of origin be healed. We yield to You, Jesus. Please guide us through this day and week. Bless those that we might not want to bless and give us compassion and understanding we pray.
I believe this prayer is from Postcards from Heaven, it is one I had saved for years because of its beauty.
Dear child of mine, I am the God of all comfort. I will hold you in my arms of compassion and sing my song of grace. I will touch the wounds within you, and in my perfect season, I will lift you from this place of pain.
But I want you to know that as I am healing you, I am also creating within you a healing ministry of your own. For to be healed by me, is to be made a healer. You see the very comfort that I am working into your broken heart through the power of my words, and the love of my people is meant to be recycled.
Someday when your heart has grown strong again, I will send someone into your life as broken as you are today. And the compassion I am pouring into you now will flow from you to that hurting soul. You will know how to comfort him because you will have been where he is.
You will resonate with his pain. You will reach into the depth of your own healing and love him back to life for me. What a precious vessel you will be to me then.
A vessel once humbled and hurt — and then a healed healer! This is my plan for you!

It’s the day we pray for those who are pursuing recovery and their families. It truly is a family affair, as the hurt is real for everyone. Sometimes we feel like we are holding our breath. A shout out to family members who are there to lend a helping hand or a needed prayer.
JADE
I learned a lesson on this acronym from an Al-Anon friend. When faced with people who are acting or talking in an unreasonable way to us, we think JADE: We don't justify, argue, defend or explain we just exit.
J ustify
A rgue
D efend
E xplain/exit
That may mean hanging up the phone if we are being vented upon, it may mean taking some time for yourself and our program, it may mean praying and seeking a blessing for that person who is going through their own pain and hurt. JADE is a new concept to me, but a good one.
Here are a few slogans:
"I'm never going to have it all figured out---and that is just fine."
"I am not afraid of storms, for I am leaning how to sail my ship."
"Perfection is a long way off, but improvement can be made to happen everyday."
"It takes what it takes."
And the cutest one yet, "Don't mess with chicks in recovery."

Prayer: The Serenity Prayer.
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
