This morning we gathered together to freeze corn that will be used for future meals of the church. When you come to the Thanksgiving Meal this November, just remember, it’s never a can of corn 😆
Thank you to everyone that came out to help and those who donated the corn to the church. You are much appreciated. 30 dozen husked, cooked, cut and bagged. Couldn’t have happened without you.

August 7 is Purple Heart Day. What Is Purple Heart Day?

There are almost 1.8 million people who can lay claim to being a part of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. This military holiday is important not only for remembering the history of the award but also for advocating for those who have been wounded along with their families. Interesting fact: John F. Kennedy, was the only president with a Purple Heart.
Take sometime to be thankful that people are willing to sacrifice their lives for all of our freedoms.

Last Sundays message challenged us to serve. The early church was going through persecution, was scattered, but still went out and shared about Jesus.
