Community United Methodist Church We try real hard not to be that bad experience with organized religion you hear people talking about. There is joy at Community. A lot.

We try to be a relevant church and we do it through our local mission effort such as our Clothes Closet/Food Pantry and Saturday Soup Kitchen. We celebrate people, have fun and laugh. We see unexpected events as new opportunities to reach and embrace the least, the lost and the last. We greet those unexpected surprises with delight and excitement as we go where the Spirit leads us.

Here's a post-Easter question for you. Make plans to join us this Friday for our combined Maundy Thursday-Good Friday service at 5:00 p.m. God has given us so much and asks so little in return other than to love Him and love our neighbors, all our neighbors. Jesus didn't just enter Jerusalem, autograph a few Torahs, shake a few hands, and kiss some adorable babies and head back for a post-parade party at a friends house. He stayed in Jerusalem, preached in the temple courts, turned over a few tables, and went toe-to-toe with the Pharisees and experts in the law. The people were amazed at the teachings of this unconventional rabbi. Join us tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. as we celebrate his triumphant entry into Jerusalem and how he boldly proclaimed the Good News.
