Let us join together and pray for peace.

Join us for a moment of guided prayer and reflection tonight in our sanctuary at 6pm. As we hold our breath wondering if hostilities and conflicts will increase across our world, come for a moment of peace.
Today, fear wants to replace hope. The rhetoric of war makes our hearts beat loudly and we are reminded of the complexities of the human condition. But we are not without hope. Our hope is ever-present and living among us in the resurrected Christ.

Lord, Hear our Prayer 🙏

PDA is monitoring the flooding in Washington state through the state VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) and contacts with impacted presbyteries and synods. We give thanks for Presbytery of Northwest Coast - PCUSA’s quick response to the needs of their community—Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Church is serving as a Red Cross shelter, First Presbyterian Church Snohomish provided sandbags to neighbors, and Mt. Baker Presbyterian Church is sheltering a partner organization in their church hall. We are in communication with presbyteries to facilitate emergency grants and possible NRT deployments. Please join us in praying for the affected communities.
