What a way to kick off Summer at Awaken! 🙌

From Kona Ice and coffee to great conversations and new connections, Sunday was filled with excitement as so many people signed up to get involved in everything happening this summer.

The message reminded us that God has given each of us unique gifts—not to keep to ourselves, but to use for the benefit of others. It was powerful to see so many people take that next step and say “yes” to serving, getting connected, and allowing God to use their gifts to make a difference.

We’re believing for an incredible summer filled with purpose, community, and life change. We love you, Church! ☀️🤍🙌

Every dollar represents meals, hope, and the love of Jesus reaching people across the world. Thank you for continuing to be a church that lives generously and believes we can make a difference together.

Many of you asked about the poem Pastor David Sulcer shared during a couple of the services yesterday... Here it is:

Sacred Blood & National Treasure

Many men have gone out to war
To win the day a mighty score
To bleed and die on scarred ground
So sacred freedom could be found

Yes, a greater vision clearer seen
Because of patriotic dreams
Could not be gained in better form
Than laying down a life forlorn

So now we stand near quiet graves
To lift their memory to the days
When brave men gave their all
To allow our nation to never fall

And yet a greater cause is there to win
Beyond the prideful boundaries of men
For God is true and truth is right
To stand to keep with all our might

When in the course of ancient deeds
No truer man would die for human need
Than Calvary’s Christ upon The Tree
To win the world for all who believe

Yes, sacred blood and national treasure
Called souls to give their greatest measure
So those who pause to pray and remember

Sunday Recap: The Gift Week 2 🔥

What a powerful Sunday at Awaken. From an incredible word from guest Pastor David Sulcer, to seeing our church family already getting excited for Summer Launch🌴☀️, there was such a special atmosphere in the room.

We loved seeing so many of you tagging us in your stories for a chance to grab free Kona Ice🍧 at Summer Launch on May 31st. The countdown is officially on!

This week’s message reminded us that worship was never meant to be convenient. Mary poured out costly oil at the feet of Jesus because she understood He was worth everything. When Jesus truly changes your life, you carry a different fragrance — the scent of someone who has been with Him, saved by Him, and transformed by His presence. 🤍

SUNDAY RECAP ✨🎓🙌

What a special Sunday at Awaken as we celebrated our graduates and every student stepping into a new season! We’re so proud of this next generation and all that God is doing in and through their lives. 🤍

It was only fitting that we also kicked off Week 1 of our new series, The Gift, learning about the Holy Spirit — our helper, advocate, and guide. Just as the Holy Spirit has faithfully led us through every season of life, we know He will continue guiding these graduates into everything God has ahead for them. ✨
