We learned what it looks like to care enough to carry somebody—and how to remember the Gospel using just ✋ five fingers.

One of the biggest reminders: we bring people to Jesus, but God is the One who changes hearts. We plant, we water, and God makes it grow. — 1 Corinthians 3:6–7

And the timing couldn’t be better because FRIEND DAY is next Sunday! Who’s one person you can “carry” by simply reaching out and inviting them to church?

And what a way to end the day. 🌊 We can’t wait to share more from an incredible evening of Beach Baptisms, celebrating lives transformed by Jesus!

Friend Day is a Sunday designed to bring people together for worship, an encouraging message, and a great morning at church. Whether you’ve been looking for a church, haven’t been in a while, or simply want to see what Awaken is all about, we’d love to have you!

We’ll also have a brand-new merch drop, Tom’s Coffee, Kona Ice, and a donut truck available for purchase. Plus, first-time guests will receive FREE Awaken merch! 🙌

Powerful First Wednesday 🙌🔥

What a night in God’s presence, worshiping together and being reminded to make room for more of Him.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit…?”
— 1 Corinthians 6:19

Sometimes making room for more of God means letting go of the things that have slowly taken up space in our lives.

May we continue to surrender, make room, and draw closer to Him. 🤍

This Sunday was a reminder that one ordinary step of obedience can change someone’s eternity.

Jesus saw the people others walked past. He moved toward them. He listened. And He trusted the Holy Spirit with the next step.

So this week, think of ONE:
Pray for one.
Invite one.
Walk toward one.
Listen to one.

And with Friend Day coming September 13, maybe your “one” is the person God has already placed on your heart. Don’t just invite someone to church—take the opportunity to introduce someone to Jesus.

There’s room for ONE more. 🤍🙌

What a night at ANCHORED! ⚓️🔥

From dinner to worship and a powerful word from Pastor Rocky McKinley, it was an unforgettable night of men coming together to be challenged, encouraged, and strengthened.

Friendships were made. Relationships grew. Men connected, laughed, worshiped, and left encouraged to keep becoming who God has called them to be.

We’re grateful for every man who showed up and everyone who helped make ANCHORED happen. This is what doing life together looks like. 🙌
