Sunday Recap | Father’s Day 🎣❤️

What an incredible Father’s Day at Awaken!

This weekend we celebrated the men in our lives, gave away fishing poles, steaks, and gifts, and were reminded what it truly means to be a man after God’s own heart.

Looking at the life of David, we learned that godly men pursue God first, accept responsibility, lead with a servant’s heart, live with integrity, and leave a legacy that points others to Jesus. While the message was geared toward men, these are qualities every follower of Christ can grow in as we pursue Him daily.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. We love our Awaken family and can’t wait to see what God continues to do through people who choose to put Him first. 🙌❤️⛪✨

What a week. ☀️🏛️❤️

Summer Blast 2026 is officially in the books, and we’re so thankful for every child, family, volunteer, and leader who made this week unforgettable.

Throughout the week, our kids learned that God’s love is a gift that can’t be earned, God’s love changes us, and God’s love is always with us. From worship and games to friendships and life-changing moments, we watched God move in incredible ways.

Thank you for being part of it. We can’t wait to see how the seeds planted this week continue to grow long after Summer Blast is over. 🌱✨

Today our kids learned a powerful truth: God’s love is a gift that can’t be earned—it’s freely given through Jesus. ❤️

From games and laughter to worship and learning God’s Word, it was a day full of fun and unforgettable moments. We can’t wait to see what God does the rest of this week! 🙌☀️

Sunday Recap 🌿

What a powerful Sunday at Awaken!

As we walked through Psalm 1, we were reminded that a flourishing life starts by moving in the right direction, meditating on the right instruction, and staying planted where we can grow. When we remain rooted in God’s Word and connected to Him, He produces fruit in our lives in every season.

We also celebrated the truth that no matter how far we may wander, our Father’s heart is always to welcome us home. 🤍

And with Summer Blast just around the corner, we’re excited to help the next generation discover that same life-giving truth about Jesus all week long! ☀️🏛️
