TODAY... before the Worship even began I knew that it was going to be a service like no other.
I asked the ladies to write down what they would like healing from. Whether a person... place... or that thing that kept them tied to their past. THE THING that kept them holding on to their history at the expense of their destiny.
As the music started and the first line of the first song came on, (“Its another good to see you Sunday morning. oh, I hardly hear the words roll off my tongue... looking in myself for signs of something that’s long gone.”) I see the first brave lady make her way to the alter... looking like she was holding what seemed to be a 1000 pound weight on her shoulders that she had held for way to long, but as she falls to the altar, the first tear, the first break, the first release as she lays her paper and her healing down.
The music continues... (“Heal me, heal these eyes, heal this heart, heal my mind, breathe your breath of life... Heal me, wake my soul from this sleep, give me back the joy of when I first believed, heal me”) and another one, and another one, and another one.
Soon it’s easy to see the evidence of all those held back tears as the concrete in front of the altar looks like rain has just fallen... but it has, healing rain!
Thank you Lord for showing up TANGIBLY today... thank you for not only healing the hearts but cupping your beautiful daughter’s faces. I tell you what... there is no worship like a Jacob’s Well worship!❤️
