The chaos of cancer to comfort in Christ!

Thursday, August 6th was my 2nd reconstructive surgery! This one was the roughest surgery yet. The surgeon removed some skin from my forehead and flipped it onto the hole that was on my nose. The hole size was reduced during the last surgery. Once the skin is able to connect and thrive, the connecting skin can be removed. It's an awkward healing process, but necessary none-the-less. God is faithful, and eternally good! We are forever thankful for your prayers! We rest in Christ alone! Although I'll be bandaged up tomorrow, I look forward to preaching one of my favorite passages, Romans 8:28. I pray that you will be as encouraged as I have going from the chaos of cancer to the comfort of Christ!

Wednesday Nights at Oak Hill Baptist Church are awesome! We had a record number of youth, children, and adults this week! Come be with us on Wednesdays! We have a time of Bible Study for all ages!

OHBC faith family, we have a wonderful group of teachers that we will be praying over this morning as they go back to school. Please consider donating items to help them in the their classrooms this year. We will be collecting through next week. See Ashley Moore for noted items.
