Are you just grabbing a quick bite with Jesus, or are you sitting down to dine?

In Sunday’s message, we looked at the table Jesus shared with His disciples. Eating is fast—you grab what you need and run. But dining is different. Dining means taking your time, visiting, listening, and staying in community.

Jesus didn’t just eat with His disciples; He sat with them, washed their feet, offered forgiveness before they even failed Him, and invited them into a deeper covenant.

Challenge for this week: Don't treat your relationship with God like a fast-food drive-thru. Take time to sit, listen, and truly commune with Him today.

Eight years ago today, our church family experienced a profound loss that changed us forever. We pause to honor and remember Hannah, Samara, and Tommy.

Though years have passed, their joy, their faith, and their impact continue to live on in our hearts and in our community. We hold their families close in prayer today, finding comfort in the enduring legacy they left behind and the steadfast hope we have in Christ.

They are deeply loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.

It’s easy to want the peace, blessings, and promises of God’s Kingdom… without actually yielding our lives daily to the King Himself.

True faith isn't just about collecting the benefits of salvation or enjoying a comfortable routine—it’s about an intimate, daily relationship with Jesus where He leads, and we follow.

When we try to have the Kingdom without the King, we end up relying on our own effort and comfort rather than His guidance and heart. But when we surrender to Him, His blessings follow naturally.

Mid-Week Reflection:
Is there an area of your life where you’re seeking God’s answers or blessings, but keeping Him at arm’s length as King?

Today is a great day to pause, reset, and say: "Lord, not just Your gifts—I want You."
"Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." — Matthew 6:33
