Sermon Title: The Great Cover-Up

Join us this morning as we continue our study through the life of David and examine one of the most sobering chapters in Scripture.

The Great Cover-Up

🔹 David's Men Humiliated
When kindness was met with suspicion and shame, David's servants experienced public humiliation. We will see how pride, misunderstanding, and poor judgment can lead to unnecessary conflict.

🔹 David's Adultery
At a time when kings went forth to battle, David remained behind and fell into temptation. We will consider the devastating consequences of sin and the importance of guarding our hearts.

🔹 David's Cover-Up
Rather than confessing his sin, David attempted to hide it through deception and manipulation. This passage reminds us that while sin may be concealed from others for a time, nothing is hidden from God.

Come worship with us as we learn valuable lessons about temptation, repentance, and the faithfulness of God even in the midst of human failure.

What an incredible day at our groundbreaking ceremony! 🌧️

Even though the rain showed up, it didn’t stop God from moving in a powerful way during our service. His presence was so evident, and we were reminded that nothing can hinder what He has planned.

We are truly humbled and grateful for all that the Lord is doing. This building project is more than just construction—it’s a testimony of His faithfulness and a step into the future He’s preparing for us.

We can’t wait to see how He continues to work, provide, and move through every phase ahead. Thank you to everyone who came out and stood with us—it meant so much!

The best is yet to come! 🙌

How ’Bout a Temple?
2 Samuel 7 & 1 Chronicles 17 (KJV)

Join us today at Bethlehem Baptist Church as we explore David’s desire to build a house for the Lord and God’s greater promise for the future.

• David’s Desire – After God had blessed and established his kingdom, David desired to honor the Lord by building a temple. His heart reflected gratitude, worship, and a longing to put God first.

• David’s Response – When God revealed that David would not build the temple, David responded with humility, thanksgiving, and praise. Even when God’s plans differ from ours, we can trust His wisdom and purpose.

• The Davidic Covenant – God made an everlasting covenant with David, promising that his throne and kingdom would endure forever. This covenant ultimately points us to Jesus Christ, the eternal King.

Come worship with us as we study God’s promises, His faithfulness, and the importance of surrendering our plans to His will.
