Plainwell First United Methodist Church

Plainwell First United Methodist Church Our Mission: "To engage people to worship Jesus Christ and love unconditionally to bring wholeness to the world."

Our Strategy:

Connecting people to God and one another through service, worship, transformational growth, and everyday life. We value:

• Transforming lives through Christ, as we seek to understand and follow him.
• Praise-filled, culturally relevant worship that is focused on God’s unconditional love and forgiveness.
• A culture that is open, accepting, and authentic, where people can question,

be both challenged and comforted, and grow through their struggles.
• Committed, passionate people, giving and serving to transform their community and the world.
• A church environment that fosters and promotes growth, development, and multiplication of faith-based leaders and ministries.

🎓 Graduation Sunday is Coming! 🎓

We are excited to celebrate all of our graduates during Graduation Sunday at PFUMC!

Whether your graduate attends PFUMC regularly, attends another church, or has a family connection to our congregation, we want to recognize and honor their achievement. We welcome graduates from high school, college, trade school, graduate programs, and other educational milestones.

If you know someone who is graduating this year, please get in touch with the church office with their name, school, degree or diploma information.

Let's come together as a church family to celebrate the hard work, dedication, and accomplishments of these students as they begin their next chapter!

Please submit graduate information to the church office by June 3rd.

🎉 Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Please join us Sunday at 10:00 a.m. as Pastor Patti McCall preaches for us while Pastor Amee and Rhonda Ramsey are serving in Traverse City for the Annual UMC Conference.

We will have a special Sunday collection for Peace with Justice Sunday. We come together to support ministries that work for peace and fairness around the world. It’s a day when the church speaks out against violence and inequality and renews its commitment to be peacemakers, just as Jesus taught.

See you Sunday! :)
