THAT’S NOT JUST THE WAY IT IS! 🙌🏾🔥

What a powerful Sunday at Shiloh! From the first moment of worship to the final word, God met us in a special way!

Today, we were reminded that just because something has always been done a certain way doesn’t mean it has to stay that way!

In Numbers 27:1–11, the daughters of Zelophehad refused to accept a situation simply because it was the way things had always been. They spoke up, stood in faith, and their courage helped change what came next.

Some things aren’t meant to be accepted. Some things are meant to be challenged. And some things are waiting on YOU to take a stand!

We’re still reflecting on everything God did in worship today! Here’s a look back at a Sunday we won’t soon forget.

October is Clergy Appreciation Month! 💛

This month, Shiloh Baptist Church takes time to honor and celebrate the men and women who have answered the call to serve God and His people!

To our Senior Pastor, Reverend Dr. Danielle L. Brown, our ordained clergy, licensed ministers, and ministers in training, WE HONOR YOU!

Thank you for every prayer prayed, every sacrifice made, every word of encouragement spoken, and every act of service that often goes unseen. Your dedication, faithfulness, and commitment to the work of the Lord do not go unnoticed.

We also pause to give special recognition to The Reverend Sheila L. Thorpe, Assistant Pastor, who faithfully served Shiloh for 37 years and made history as the first woman ordained at Shiloh Baptist Church. We honor her years of service, trailblazing ministry, and lasting impact on our church family.

Shiloh, let’s show our clergy some love! Drop a word of encouragement or appreciation in the comments! 💛

HAPPY CLERGY APPRECIATION MONTH!

YOUR WORDS HAVE POWER! 🔥

Don’t let your current situation hold your future captive! What you speak carries weight, and what you declare matters.

Speak life. Speak faith. Speak what God says!

OBEDIENCE IS THE FIRST STEP TO OVERFLOW! 🙌🏾✨

This Sunday, October 25, we’re coming together for First Fruit Sunday: The Gift of Obedience!

As we prepare to worship, we’re inviting every member to sow a $500 First Fruit Gift above their regular tithes and offerings as an expression of faith, gratitude, and obedience.

This is more than giving. It’s about honoring God with our first and trusting Him with everything that follows!

📅 Sunday, October 25
⏰ 7:15 AM & 9:00 AM
