The Witness of HIS Word 🙏🏾

Yesterday, we were reminded that God’s Word can be trusted even when what He says seems impossible.

Pastor Johnson preached “The Witness of HIS Word” from Luke 1:30–37, reminding us that God’s promises stand firm because nothing is impossible with God.

We also took time to pray over our students, educators, and administrators as they return for a new school year. We’re believing God for wisdom, protection, strength, and success as they step into a new season of learning, leading, and growing.

When circumstances say “no,” His Word says “yes.” When we can’t see the way, His Word remains our witness. And when we have questions, we can still trust the One who spoke the promise.

His Word is true. His promises are sure. His power is limitless.

Let’s walk into this week believing what God has spoken and trusting Him to do what only He can do!

FAVORITE COLOR SUNDAY 💙💛💜❤️

Tomorrow is Favorite Color Sunday! 🎨

Even with heavy hearts, we will bless the Lord. 🙌🏾 We may come with tears in our eyes and burdens on our hearts, but our praise remains. For the Lord is still good, still faithful, and still worthy!

“I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” -Psalm 34:1

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our family, our friend, longtime faithful member and Trustee, Patricia “Trish” Staley.

Trish was a devoted member of the First-Park Baptist Church family, and her faithfulness, service, and presence will be greatly missed. Her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the love she shared.

As a church family, we stand with the Staley/Thomas/Williams/Miller family during this difficult time, lifting each of you in prayer. May the peace of God guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

🙌🏾 REPRESENT SUNDAY WAS A CELEBRATION! 🙌🏾

This past Sunday, we showed up, represented, and celebrated what makes us who we are! From favorite teams and alma maters to organizations, fraternities, sororities, and everything in between, Represent Sunday was all about bringing our whole selves into the house of God. 💙

And Pastor Johnson challenged us with a powerful word: “Working with What’s Left” from Judges 7:1-7. Sometimes, God doesn’t need more—He wants us to trust Him with what we already have!

But Spirit Month isn’t over yet! 🔥

We’ve got more to celebrate, more ways to connect, and more opportunities to BE The Church together.
