📖 John 6:1–14 — Feeding the 5,000

Jesus took what looked like it could never be enough and made it MORE than enough. Tonight we’re talking about what this miracle teaches us about trusting Jesus with what we have and what we need.

𝟐𝟐 𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐒. 𝟕𝟓𝟓 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐒. 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐃𝐀𝐘. ❤️

Our PC Students one-day mission trip to New Orleans is complete, and what an amazing day it was!

We had the privilege of watching our students live out their faith in a very real way—serving others, praying with complete strangers, stepping outside of their comfort zones, loving people right where they were, and boldly proclaiming the name of Jesus in a city that can sometimes feel hard and harsh.

And, of course, we had a whole lot of fun along the way!

Throughout the day, our students and kids encountered different people, cultures, backgrounds, and ways of life. They saw things they may not see every day, had conversations they may not normally have, and had their eyes opened to the needs of people beyond their own community. More importantly, they were reminded that every person they meet is someone Jesus loves.

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them—and even the few “tag-alongs” who joined us for the adventure! ❤️

We’re thankful for what God allowed us to experience in those 22 hours and 755 miles, but even more thankful for a group willing to simply say:

“𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐝. 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐦𝐞.”

Our prayer is that what God started in their hearts in New Orleans doesn’t stay in New Orleans. The mission continues right here at home.

📚 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 ✏️

As our 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 head back to school this week and next, we ask you to join us in 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦!

Pray for 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 as they step into new classrooms and new routines. Pray for 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 to face new challenges and opportunities. Pray for 𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡, 𝐰𝐢𝐬𝐝𝐨𝐦, 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲, and a year filled with 𝐆𝐨𝐝’𝐬 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.

We are praying for our students, teachers, administrators, and school staff as they begin a new year. May this be one of the best school years yet! ❤️🙏

We had an awesome time hanging out together at The Palace after church. There’s nothing better than sharing a meal, laughing together, and building friendships outside of our Sunday services.
