Proximity provides opportunity.

So often, we take positions and stances toward one another before we ever take the time to truly know one another. People are far more complex than what we see on the surface.

That’s part of the heart behind creating spaces for brotherhood and sisterhood. Spaces where we can move beyond assumptions, sit with one another, listen, and become deeply known.

It’s also part of why we started Family Night, held in the Life Center on the third Friday of every month. These are simply touch points for us to spend time together outside of our Sunday gatherings and Bible study, giving us more opportunities to know one another beyond the spaces where we normally gather.

Our prayer is that what begins in these spaces doesn’t stop there. We hope it carries into our everyday lives, creating opportunities for us to know one another more deeply and walk alongside one another.

We’ll be gathering Tuesday at 6:00 PM for Brotherhood Night, with Bible Study following at 7:00 PM.

If you’d like to join us, you’re welcome.

When people cannot stay with you in your deepest struggle, keep going back to the Father. Human support is valuable, but dependence on God is essential.

The heart of Gethsemane is even deeper: Jesus wasn’t merely giving us an example He was willingly submitting to the Father’s will as He prepared to go to the cross (Matt. 26:45–46).

A few biblical applications stand out:

Bring deep distress to God. Jesus was “sorrowful and troubled” (Matt. 26:37–38), and He prayed rather than hiding His anguish.

Keep praying when others cannot carry the burden with you. The disciples failed Him, but Jesus continued going to the Father.

Submit your desires to God’s will. His prayer was, “Not as I will, but as you will” (Matt. 26:39).

Persevere in prayer. Jesus prayed repeatedly, even returning to the same request (Matt. 26:42–44).

Based on feedback and prayer, we’re making a few intentional adjustments to create more space for prayer, development, discipleship, and community.

We’ll begin the month together with Corporate Prayer & Development Night, setting the foundation for the month ahead.

Throughout the rest of the month, we’re prioritizing more intimate settings for life-on-life discipleship. Beginning at 6 PM, our men and women will have separate safe spaces to connect, grow, and walk alongside one another.

Then at 7 PM, we’ll come together as a general body for our Kingdom Stewardship Bible Study series, focusing on what it means to faithfully steward every area of life.

We’re looking forward to growing deeper together as a community.

Check out the flyer for next month’s schedule, and we pray you’ll make plans to join us!
