Today, we pause to honor the life, legacy, and prophetic witness of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. — a servant leader who courageously stood for justice, equality, and love, even in the face of great opposition.

Dr. King reminded us that “faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” His unwavering belief in God, nonviolence, and the power of unity continues to challenge us to live out our faith beyond the church walls.

As a church family, we recommit ourselves to his vision of a beloved community — one rooted in compassion, righteousness, and action. May we continue to speak up for the voiceless, serve with humility, and walk boldly in love.

On behalf of Pastor Vaughn and First Lady Vaughn, we honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy and pray that his dream continues to live through us.
