Join us this Sunday at Piggott First General Baptist Church as we gather to worship, pray, and open God’s Word together.

This week, Pastor Enoch will be preaching from Colossians 1, reminding us of the greatness of Christ, the hope of the gospel, and the One who holds all things together.

“And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.”
Colossians 1:17

Whether you’ve been in church your whole life, haven’t been in a while, or are simply looking for a place to belong, we’d love to see you.

Come as you are. Leave encouraged.

𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗱 𝗱𝗼 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿.

This Sunday, May 24, as we head into Memorial Day weekend, Rev. Carey Gibbs, a member of our church family, will be bringing the message.

His sermon, “If You Knew Better, You’d Do Better,” will look at how knowledge, discernment, humility, and growth in God’s Word shape our walk with Christ.

The Christian life is not about standing still. It is about learning from Jesus, growing in grace, studying the Word faithfully, and letting God teach us how to walk more wisely, love more deeply, and serve more faithfully.

We invite you to join us this Sunday for worship, fellowship, and a message from one of our own.

You don’t have to clean yourself up before you come to Jesus.

That’s the reminder so many of us need.

We can stay away because we feel too broken, too ashamed, too tired, too angry, too confused, or too messy. But Jesus has never been afraid of the mess.

He meets people there.

In grief. In failure. In fear. In sin. In questions. In pain.

But He does not meet us there to leave us there. He comes near to forgive, heal, restore, rescue, and carry us out.

This Sunday, we’re closing our Jesus Is ______. sermon series with one final message:

Jesus Is Here

We’ll be looking at the promise of Matthew 28:20:

“And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

If you need that reminder, come join us.

Bring your burden. Bring your questions. Bring your family. Bring a friend who needs to know they are not alone.

Happy Mother’s Day from Piggott First General Baptist Church!

Tomorrow morning, we would love to honor the moms in our community and church family with a special Pancake Breakfast in the Life Center, hosted by the men of our congregation.

Breakfast begins at 9:30 AM, followed by worship at 10:30 AM with a special Mother’s Day message for and from the moms in our church.

“Her children rise up and call her blessed.”
Proverbs 31:28

Moms, grandmothers, spiritual mothers, and women who pour love, wisdom, prayer, and strength into the lives of others, we thank God for you. Your faithfulness matters more than you know, and we would be blessed to celebrate you.

Join us tomorrow morning for pancakes, fellowship, worship, and a heartfelt time of gratitude.

What if joy is not a distraction from following Jesus?

What if joy is part of the evidence that we know Him?

Tomorrow morning, Pastor Enoch Richardson continues our Jesus is ________ series with this week’s message:

Jesus is Happy

And yes, that may sound simple. But for a lot of us, it may also be deeply needed.

Come worship with us. Come be encouraged. Come remember that Jesus is not cold, distant, annoyed, or hard to approach. He welcomes, restores, and brings joy that is deeper than circumstances.

Service starts at 10:30 AM, but come early for coffee, donuts, and fellowship.

And bring a friend with you. Someone you know may need to be reminded that Jesus is better, kinder, nearer, and more joyful than they imagined.
