Lord God of mercy, on this holy Ash Wednesday, we come before You aware of our weakness and need of Your grace. The ashes remind us that we are dust and that without You, we are nothing. Create in us clean hearts, O God. Help us turn away from sin and walk faithfully in Your ways.

We have been so blessed! Almighty God, we don't know who or what will cross our path this New Year. But we do know that You are our Rock and our Fortress. You are our Shield and our Strong Tower. Help us to anchor ourselves to You this New Year. Teach us how to stand strong in You and choose only Your way. Help us walk by Your truth and not our feelings. Help us to embrace anything that comes our way as an opportunity to see You at work … and as an opportunity to point others to You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen! Enjoy your New Years Eve… Everything Is Gonna Be Alright!
