Hello, Facebook and Instagram family and friends! It’s official—we are in Fall Banquet Season!

We are so excited to introduce this year’s theme: Christian Discipleship: Our Lasting Cure, based on Romans 12:2.

Jesus is the cure. Through God’s Word, biblical curriculum, teaching, and discipleship, lives are being renewed and transformed from the inside out. We are excited to share more about what God is doing through Teen Challenge of Arizona, and this is a banquet season you won’t want to miss!

We are so excited to celebrate and honor our graduates at our Fall Graduation next Saturday, September 12th, at The River at Flowing Wells, 3198 N. Flowing Wells Road in Tucson, Arizona.

This is going to be a very special day as we celebrate 31 graduates, including men, women, children, and youth from our Springboard Home for Girls. We will also be honoring two distinguished alumni for their continued achievements and the example they have set for others since graduation.

We are also excited to welcome an amazing guest speaker! Please see the flyer for additional details.

This is a celebration you will not want to miss, and everyone is invited! Come celebrate lives transformed, milestones reached, and all that God has done.

The Road Back to Phoenix

Louie was awake and on the road by 3:00 a.m. on August 31. He had a four-and-a-half-hour drive ahead of him, but he wanted to be at the Phoenix Teen Challenge Men’s Center to watch his nephew complete the Induction phase of the program.

Louie had been the one to bring his nephew to Teen Challenge. He had also brought his son, Cody, to the program in 2024. Cody completed the program in 2025 and now works as a driver for Amazon.

Louie’s first journey to our Phoenix campus was very different.

In November 2020, Louie spent four and a half hours in the passenger seat without knowing his family was bringing him to Teen Challenge. He had been drinking continuously for six months, and his family feared for his life. They did not know what else to do.

When they arrived, Louie was reluctant to stay. Eventually, he agreed to enter our chapel and see what God might do.

Louie says that when the chapel doors closed behind him, he had the immediate impression that he had seen the front of the chapel before. In that moment, he believes God freed him from his addiction to alcohol. What began that day continued through faith, discipleship, and growth.

Nearly six years later, Louie was no longer the reluctant passenger. This time, he chose to make the long drive back to Phoenix to celebrate his nephew taking an important step forward.

Louie’s story reminds us that God created every person with immeasurable worth and an eternal purpose. We are grateful for the partners who help provide a Christ-centered community where men like Louie, Cody, and Louie’s nephew can encounter the gospel and receive support as they pursue growth.
