Karns Grove had a 5th Sunday singing today and God was in the house. Our church has exceptionally talented singers and a young man answering God’s calling did the message. We especially enjoyed Old Rugged Cross in Bluegrass. You should have been with us. Today was a real blessing.

The sale is over. It was a huge success. We were blessed by meeting so many new people, and were privileged to pray with and for so many people. God was working at our church today and we're convinced He has plans for how we will use the monies raised to minister to Eastern Kentucky for our mission trip in October. We just need to listen for His gentle guidance, and watch where He is working, then join in that work. Last year 11 church members went on that mission trip and recognized how much a second trip is needed. Thank you to all who donated goods and to all who shopped and made donations to help us serve the needs in Eastern Kentucky.

Karns Grove will be having a Rummage Sale in the church Fellowship Hall on Saturday, August 22. There are housewares & decor, tools, toys, walking sticks, and clothing of all sizes. We are raising funds to support our mission activities in Eastern Kentucky in October. Hope to see you there.

Our first "Vacation Bible School in the Neighborhood" was blessed with God’s presence. We had 74 guests, met a lot of very nice adults and children, got to witness to and pray with many, along with presenting a class about Jesus & faith to a group of youngsters who were excited and participated beyond our expectations. We were blessed by the management of the apartment complex in allowing us to use their activity area for the event.
Thank you to all the KG volunteers. We definitely will be doing an event next year, and possible doing two.

Another blessed day at Karns Grove. Broc joined the family of Jesus as a brother in Christ. We celebrated his baptism in this morning's service. It was also our 5th Sunday Singing which we look forward to several times a year. This time was super special. God has blessed our church with talented people who lead us in praising our Lord and Savior. There were tears in the eyes of many this morning with Jesus presence being felt among us.

Karns Grove will be moving our summer Vacation Bible School into a neighborhood in Owensboro this year. We are hoping to reach young people who may not otherwise have a chance to attend VBS. Plans are being made, a date and location are being reserved. Please pray that God will use this to reach into young lives and begin their journey of faith.
