I had the honor to attend the St Andrews Dinner at Holy Rosary in Medford Wednesday evening. It is an evening for middle school age to young adult males who might be interested or are discerning God's call in their life. During the Mass Andrew Smith, one of the diocese's seminarians, made his Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders. This means he completed the first 3 years of his studies in Philosophy and will now enter into 4 years of Theology. 25 young men and their parents attended the dinner, the largest group ever to attend this dinner. The Knights of Columbus cooked and served a fabulous dinner to the attendees. I hope next year we will see some young men from our cluster attend the St Andrew dinner.
