SMALL STRAWS IN A SOFT WIND

I keep hearing the song lyrics: Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, start all over again. That is what the Lord wants for all of us who have been through a rough patch. We must not dump down in self-pity where nothing good comes out of it. Today is the day to rise up and do the best you can with what you have.

Philippians 4:12-13 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
