It is so easy to pull away and isolate ourselves when we are going through difficult times. We convince ourselves that no one else has dealt with what we are experiencing, and we resolve to "fix things" before coming back to God or our community.

But as this clip reminds us, Emmanuel means "God with us." He isn’t waiting for you on the other side of your trial—He is with you right now, right in the midst of the heat. There is freedom, comfort, and companionship to be found even in the fire.

If you are walking through a tough season, don't face it in isolation. Reach out to your community, and lean into the One who promises to never leave your side. 🕊️

Ever feel like you're under attack when you're just trying to do the right thing? Daniel knew that feeling. At around 80 years old, his faithfulness to God made him a target. When a law threatened his life if he kept praying, Daniel didn't hide his faith—he kept his prayer routine, three times a day, just like always.

The result? A night in a lion's den that became a living room. While the king couldn't sleep, Daniel rested in peace because God sent an angel to shut the lions' mouths. Here's the powerful truth: weapons will be formed against you, but Isaiah 54:17 promises they won't prosper. Your consistent prayer life before the attack prepares you to trust God during the attack.

When you're in the pit, don't wait to get out before you praise Him. God can turn your lion's den into a place of peace. He's the same God who rolled away the stone from the tomb—and He's still in the business of deliveri

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the U.S. military to protect our freedoms. We thank God for them and all those who serve today.

In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, how do we remain unshakable? Daniel and his friends faced this exact challenge when they were taken captive to Babylon—stripped of their home, given new names, and pressured to abandon their faith.

But Daniel made up his mind. He refused to defile himself with the king's food, choosing instead to honor God even when it cost him. The result? God granted him favor, wisdom, and a legacy that outlasted an entire empire. While kingdoms rose and fell, Daniel kept going—because he stood on God's unchanging Word.

What "free food" is culture offering you today that's designed to reprogram your identity? It's time to make up your mind before you sit at the table. Remember: "There is a God in heaven" (Daniel 2:28). He's still in control, still granting favor, and still honoring those who honor Him. You can outlast whatever comes against you when you're rooted in Christ.

The world is passing away, but those who do God's will live forever. Stay unshakable.

When's the last time you witnessed something awesome and just took it in—without pulling out your phone? We've become so good at capturing moments, but how often do we truly treasure them in our hearts?

This Mother's Day, we explored how Mary, the mother of Jesus, didn't just witness miracles—she treasured them. Twice in Luke 2, Scripture tells us Mary "treasured all these things in her heart." She didn't just like and scroll past God's goodness; she curated a heart gallery of His faithfulness.

What are you treasuring today? Negativity and disappointment, or the supernatural moments when God showed up? You don't need a better life—you might just need a better filing system for all the good that's already happened. When your praise tank is on empty, go back to your heart gallery. Those treasures are victory trophies pointing to a God who cannot fail.

This week, write down when God shows up. Treasure it. Let it fuel your future praise.

Mother’s Day is a beautiful time to celebrate the women who have shaped our lives—but we know it can also be a day of mixed emotions.

At Anchor Church, we want to honor it all:
The Joy: Celebrating the moms and mother figures who are with us today.
The Legacy: Reflecting on and honoring the mothers who are no longer with us but whose wisdom still guides us.
The Village: Recognizing the aunts, mentors, and friends who have loved us with a mother’s heart.

Check out some of the wisdom our church family is carrying with them today!

"Far too often when we get it, it’s got us."

It's so easy to get consumed by the things we’ve worked or prayed so hard for. Whether it’s a career milestone, a new home, or a personal goal—remembering that we are just stewards can change everything.

Take a second today to identify that one thing you're praying for, and let it go back to the Lord.

Drop a 'Amen' if you needed to hear this today! ❤️
