The Troth

The Troth The Troth strives to embody the spirit of reciprocity and service for our inclusive faith.

Our organization serves many traditions, whether you call them Ásatrú, Forn Sed, Heathenry, Norse Paganism, Urglaawe or Anglo-Saxon Heathenry (ASH). The Troth is a diverse spiritual community that serves the great tapestry of faiths that constitute Heathenry or Pan-Germanic Paganism and provides education about and advocacy for those religions to the public. In everything we do, The Troth strives

to embody the spirit of reciprocity and service for our inclusive faith traditions. Our organization serves many of those traditions, whether you call them Ásatrú, Forn Sed, Heathenry, Norse Paganism, Urglaawe or Anglo-Saxon Heathenry (ASH). We are incorporated as a non-profit religious corporation in the state of New York, and are recognized by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) religious organization. Our organization was created on the principle that we serve "all those whom the Gods call." Heathenry is now a global, universal religion, practiced by people from all backgrounds in every corner of the world. Our vision is that all Heathens, regardless of their background, can practice their religion freely, openly and confidently knowing that there is a spiritual community who cares about serving them. As such, we do not permit discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, creed, education, language, or ability in the activities of the Troth or any of its affiliated groups. We invite all who share our vision of inclusive Heathenry to join us in the worship of the Gods and Goddesses, our ancestors, and Land Spirits. We welcome people from all backgrounds who have been called to follow Heathenry, Asatru or Norse Paganism.

Apologies to everyone watching the livestream service this morning. It cut out at about 19 minutes before we got a chance to really get into the prayer itself.

But not to worry! We will return once again tonight at 9:30 PM Eastern and next week at 7 AM Eastern.

This service is for everyone curious about Asatru, Heathenry, and Norse Paganism and who wants to see how it is actually lived and experienced. It's for those of us who are out there in the world and wonder if there's anyone else who believes what we do. And it's for those of us who just want a space each week where they know they will be welcomed and encouraged in their faith.

Members of The Troth also get access to an additional private prayer service on Zoom hosted by various members of our Clergy each Sunday as well.

If you agree with our mission and want to support our work in inclusive Heathenry then join us and become a member. Here's how you can do it.

We made a joint statement along with Heathens Against Hate and The Fellowship of Fire and Ice in support of transgender people and their rights.

As Heathen religious, advocacy, and community organizations, we believe every person is worthy of compassion, conscience, and care.
