With both deep sadness and grateful joy, we share the rising to new life of our sister, Catherine Maureen Larkin SSJ.

Sister entered eternal life on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Sister Catherine Maureen’s funeral will take place on Monday, September 14, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Saint Joseph Villa. The liturgy will be livestreamed at https://vimeo.com/event/6175657?fl=so&fe=fs

Meet the Gwynedd Mercy Academy students who set out to help seniors at Saint Joseph Villa feel more connected to their loved ones. After spotting a digital picture frame in a resident's room — and realizing the power of that simple technology to bridge the distance between families — they launched a mission to bring one to every resident in the building.

What followed? An $8,600 Lead4Change grant, a CEO who responded to their LinkedIn message within minutes, and an entire nursing home transformed.
