Adventists believe a Trinity of three persons--the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit--make up one God. They made salvation possible when Jesus, the Son, came to earth as a baby in Bethlehem and lived a sinless life in accordance with the Father's will. When Jesus was crucified for the sins of the people of the world and arose from the dead on the third day, victory was won for everyone. When He

returned to heaven following the resurrection, Jesus left the Holy Spirit to serve as our Comforter and Counselor. He promised to return to earth a second time to complete His plan of salvation and take His people to heaven. Adventists believe that God is concerned with the quality of human life, and that everything--the way we live, eat, speak, think, treat each other, and care for the world around us--is a part of His plan. Our families, our children, our jobs, our talents, our money, and our time are all important to Him.

Does Jesus Know You?

Have you ever wondered if God truly knows you?

Jesus describes Himself as the Good Shepherd who calls His sheep by name. He doesn't see you as a number in a crowd. He knows your story, your struggles, your victories, your fears, and even the parts of your life you try to hide from others.

The Bible teaches that a name represents character. That means Jesus knows not only your name but your heart. Yet despite knowing everything about you, He still loves you, calls you, and leads you.

The Good Shepherd is not distant. He knows you personally and invites you to follow Him today.

Are you following the Good Shepherd—or simply carrying the label?

In John 10, Jesus declares, “I am the Good Shepherd.” But what does it really mean to belong to His flock? In this powerful sermon, we explore the Good Shepherd, the hireling, the steward, the doorkeeper, the sheep, and even the “squatter”—and what these characters reveal about our relationship with Christ and our responsibility toward others.

Where Is Jesus Found?

Jesus was not afraid to enter the homes of sinners, speak with the rejected, touch the untouchable, or cross boundaries to reach one hurting person.

From the woman at the well to the demon-possessed man and those society considered unworthy, Jesus consistently moved toward people others avoided. His ministry reminds us that the people others reject are people Jesus still loves.

As followers of Christ, are we willing to go where Jesus goes—to the hurting, overlooked, forgotten, and spiritually lost?

Jesus came to seek and save the lost. Will we follow Him?

Can Jesus Bury Your Shame? What if the shame you're carrying doesn't have to follow you into your future?

This powerful message uses Mark's story and the image of the sindon—the garment associated with his shame—to point to the transforming power of Jesus. What once represented failure and shame was ultimately buried with Christ.

We are not defined by our failures.

God can step into our brokenness, take our deepest messes, and transform them into testimonies of His mercy. He can exchange shame for beauty, brokenness for restoration, and failure for a brand-new beginning.

From the guttermost to the uttermost, there is nothing too difficult for God.

Your past may be part of your story—but it doesn't have to be your identity. Jesus can make all things new.

Can Your Scars Make You Useful? What makes someone useful in God's eyes?

Not a perfect record. Not a life without failure. Battle-tested faith.

The person who has been knocked down and learned how to rise understands perseverance in a way others may not. You've tasted failure, faced hardship, and still refused to let your past write your ending.

Mark went from being rejected as a quitter to becoming someone Paul considered useful for ministry. His scars weren't proof that God was finished with him—they were evidence that God was still working.

Scarred. Seasoned. Still standing. And still useful to God.

Your failure doesn't have to disqualify you. God can use what you've survived to strengthen someone else.

Can God Restore Your Story? What if God refuses to define you by your worst day?

Barnabas saw something in Mark that others may have missed. Instead of defining Mark by his failure, he patiently walked with him until he became the man he was capable of becoming.

Jesus did the same for Peter. After Peter denied Him three times, Jesus didn't abandon him. He restored him, recommissioned him, and gave him another opportunity to serve.

That's what God's grace looks like. When you encourage someone who is broken, you're doing more than being kind—you're showing them what God is like.

Your failure isn't the end. God's restoration can write a new chapter.
