Our Inheritance in Christ!
Ephesians 1:11-14 NLT

11 Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan.
12 God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God.
13 And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago.
14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.

It's great to have an inheritance and to be remembered in someone's will.
Paul is saying that in Christ, we have obtained an inheritance.
Peter said in 1Peter 1:4, that our inheritance is incorruptible and undefiled , that it will not fade away and that it is reserved in heaven for us.
Paul also told the Corinthians, that eye has not seen nor ear heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him. 1Corinthians, 2:9.

What God has in Store for us is beyond anything we can imagine.❤️

Thought for the day!

"We wrestle not against flesh and blood"

Our enemies are not people. We must see beyond people. Satan may use people to persecute us, lie to us, cheat us, hurt us, or even kill us, but our real enemy lurks in the shadows of the unseen world, moving people as pawns on the chessboard of time.
As long as we see people as enemies and wrestle against them, we will use our strength in vain. Yes, we see wicked people, hear the evil things they say, and feel the hurts they inflict on us. People are involved, but they are not the real problem.

We are not just in an ordinary battle. We are in a greater arena than the one we can see.

So, God commands us to put on the armor He has provided for us so that we can stand against the wiles of Satan.

Ephesians 6:11-13 AMP

11. Put on thefull armor of God (for His precepts are like the splendidarmor of a heavily - armed soldier), so that you may be able to (successfully) stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.
12. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents), but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this (present) darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.
13. Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to (successfully) resist and stand your ground in the evil day (of danger), and having done everything ( that the crisis demands), to stand firm ( in your place, fully prepared, immovable, and victorious).
