Nikini Poya Sīl Program – 2026

The Nikini Poya Sīl Program 2026 was held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Austin Buddhist Vihara, bringing the community together for a day of mindfulness and spiritual reflection.

Morning Dāna was generously offered by the Nissanka & Erandimala Family.

Lunch Dāna was lovingly offered by the Upali & Yamuna Family.

The program was guided by the venerable Ven. Buthpitiye Samitha Nayaka Thero from Metta Vihara, Houston.

It was wonderful to welcome our students back to the temple as they begin another year of learning, growing, and practicing the teachings of the Buddha. Seeing their smiling faces and joyful energy filled our temple with happiness. 💛
