Brace Yourself

Job might be my favorite book in the Bible, especially the last few chapters where God responds to Job in the middle of his pain and sorrow. I was curious why God asked question after question instead of just stating who he was. But then I realized he wanted an answer… And that had me take a closer look.

Join me in this series called Brace Yourself… not for something terrible…but for profound truth that settles even the most quizzing and skeptical minds.

Some days it feels like you've worked all night... and your nets are still empty.
While the disciples were exhausted and frustrated, Jesus was already on the shore with breakfast waiting. He saw their struggle before they even recognized He was there.
Maybe today is a reminder to stop striving for just a moment and look for the Friend who's been beside you all along.

To be a friend of God is more than getting everything we ask for—it's learning His heart, loving others well, and finding peace as we trust His will. There is no greater friendship than the one we have in Jesus.
