Petersburg First Church of God Welcome to Petersburg First Church of God. Come be part of the family! Our movement maintains offices in Anderson, Indiana, but each congregation is autonomous.

Petersburg FCOG is affiliated with a non-denominational movement called simply the Church of God. The Church of God works together to send missionaries throughout the world, maintain several Christian colleges, and demonstrate unity among those who believe in and live for Jesus Christ. Our goal as a Christian movement is to share the Good News of Jesus’ love and mercy to as many as possible. We be

It is with heavy hearts, but deep gratitude for a life well-lived, that we share the passing of our dear brother in Christ, Paul Newton.

When our church needed leadership and guidance, Paul faithfully stepped into the pulpit to pastor us. He was a wonderful, steadfast presence who was always there for our church family whenever we needed him. His heart for service, his warmth, and his love for the Lord touched so many of our lives.

Please keep his family and loved ones in your prayers during this time. We rest in the comfort of knowing he is now home with the Savior he served so faithfully.

Update on Betty Cochren…from Dave. Please continue to keep Betty in your prayers!

Dr Keepes saw mom yesterday and he’s pretty sure she’s had a light stroke, not vertigo. She’s scheduled for an MRI Saturday at Evansville. She feels fine, just gets lightheaded at times so someone is basically staying with her 24/7 which she thinks is very unneeded. Shocker, I know😄

We Love you Betty!!!!
