I am leaving Alfred UMC and will no longer serve as pastor. I have focused my energy on returning tot the Southern Baptist church where my roots lay. I been fortunate to see many saved in the UMC and I appreciate all the work the congregation put in to keep the church open. I will miss many but I have to obey God and return to the Southern Baptist church. May God bless you as you who still work in the UMC and win many souls to Christ.

The chiurch will be closed today due to the weather. We are sorry that we will not have service today and want everyone to stay warm and. We will reopen next Sunday at 10:30.

This Sunday, November 30, I will preach part 3 of the "Judgments of God". This series is the last time I will preach this. I have preached this sermon taking a year to preach but have condensed it down to the most important parts. You don't want to miss it. I will go over the first one and two parts so you can be redressed. We welcome All to our church and know you will like the congregation and fellowship we share.

This Sunday, November 16, I will preach a sermon titled; "The Judgements of God". Worship service starts at 10:30 AM Eastern time. Of all the sermons I have preached over the years , This one is at the top of the list. I do not know how long I will preach this sermon but I am quite sure it will be several weeks as the content is rather lengthy. I have spent a lot of time on this sermon but am not finished yet. If you hear one sermon about the future, pick this one. You don't want to miss it. If you have not been attending church, this would be a good time to start if you want to learn about your future.

Treats are served at the Sunday School lesson. I know a lot of you may be curious about Judas and this is a good time to know more about him. He is a major player in the death of Jesus.
