"Finding Our North Star: What Guides Us Through the Journey?"
Sunday, May 31, 2026 - 10:30 am
with Worship Leader Nate Makdad, Worship Associate Dustin Muzio, Cantor Rachel Walters Steiner, and pianist Gary Rossi.

We’ll explore the spiritual practice of orientation: how we find direction when life feels uncertain or unfamiliar. Drawing on the image of the North Star, we’ll reflect on the values and relationships that steady us, guide us, and call us forward.

"We Inherited a River"
Sunday, May 10, 2026 - 10:30 am
with Worship Leader Ashley Kennedy, Worship Associate Nate Makdad, and accompanist Darin Wilson.

We love to call ourselves a river: ever-moving, ever-changing, the same river even as the water flows through. But rivers don’t come from nowhere, and neither do we. On this Mother’s Day, we trace what has been carried to us – the clear water and the murky silt, the gifts and the weight – and ask what we are learning to carry ourselves. Because if we are the river, then we are also the ones who decide what we carry forward. And somewhere downstream, what we pass on makes possible something new.

"The Only Way"
Sunday, April 26, 2026 - 10:30 am
with Worship Leader Dave Hudson, Worship Associate Nancy Blake, and pianist Gary Rossi.

“Love is the doctrine of this church.” We believe in the strength of love, but in this fraught time, can love save us? We believe it’s the only way.

"Our Gifts Matter"
Sunday, April 19, 2026 - 10:30 am
Rev. Aija Simpson-Newbury, with Worship Associate Nancy Blake, Cantor Rachel Walters Steiner, accompanist Darin Wilson, and the Larking About Choir.

“We reaffirm our commitment to accept life’s gifts with grace and gratitude & use them to bless the world in the spirit of Love.” On this Sunday, we come together to ask: What gifts have we been given? And how will we use them to bless the our congregation, our community and our world?

“Abolish ICE Now!”
Sunday, April 12, 2026 - 10:30 am
with visiting guest minister Rev. Kevin Alan Mann, Worship Associate Dave Hudson, and musicians Aidan Manousos, members of Singing Resistance.

Our deepest faith values tell us we must ABOLISH ICE NOW. “What Minneapolis taught me is that resisting authoritarianism requires trained, sustained resistance, grounded in truth telling and faithful witness.” 1.) Resistance must be trained. 2.) Sustained resistance requires more than one-day action. 3.) Non-cooperation is a moral strategy. Twin Cities based MARCH (Multifaith, Antiracism, Change, and Healing) is a pro-queer coalition of multiracial faith leaders in Minneapolis/St. Paul who sent a nationwide call to clergy to come to Minneapolis Jan. 22-23 and be in solidarity with the ICE OUT OF MINNESOTA CAMPAIGN. Over 700 ministers answered that call with over 200 UUs. All of us have a role to play in the resistance. You are not alone!
