Save the Date: Tues., August 4 at FPC

We are preparing for our annual Backpack Blessings event and are now accepting donations! This ministry serves approximately 250 local children with a backpack full of FREE school supplies for the new school year.

We rely on the generosity of our congregation, community, and team of Deacons to fulfill this mission and are extremely grateful for every ounce of support! ❤️📚🍎

It was a wildly amazing adventure at “Rainforest Falls-Exploring the Nature of God” VBS this week! We had over 60 kids who explored what it means to be rooted in God, a safe place in life’s storms, through fun music, water games, relatable bible lessons from the Psalms, delicious snacks and fascinating science experiments. This VBS would never happen without the time and dedication of our faithful volunteers! Shout out of thanks to our Crew leaders, Stephanie Rupp, Anita Fike, and Katie Shaffer. Wild Games leaders, Tina Bowman, Treg Bowman, Carrie Hall, and youth helpers Layton Hall, Kade Wilson and Clayton Chenowith. Sticky Scripture leader, Mandy Vollmer, who also took tons of pictures, Treetop Treats preparers, Shirley Elliott, LaDonna Harbour, Gloria Maine, and Ava Wilson. Imagination Station leader Amanda Wilson and helper, Reece Shaffer. Anna Schieffer who led music and Pastor Ron for running the videos during Sing and Play Lagoon and taking lots of action pics. Wally Schieffer, for cooking the hot dogs for the Music program lunch today. Last, but certainly not least, Ms. Sherri, for being our fierce Rainforest Falls Director and Guide, who led every day and spent many hours behind the scenes preparing the rooms with all the fantastic decorations, making Rainforest Falls come to life! 😊
