Mission Statement: Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through Worship, Faith Formation, and Service. Ministries we serve include:
• Founded and organizing of the Pella Community Food Shelf - First Sunday of each month is Food Shelf Sunday.
• The education and care of orphans in Tanzania, Africa.
• Fighting global poverty through Lutheran World Relief with hand-made quilts, school kits, and mor

e.
• Offering education and after-school care with Word on Wednesday during the school year.
• Donations and time offered to diaper distribution program for refugee families, the Start Small Project.
• Support of time, people, and donations to Pella of Crossroads, a service organization that serves multiple counties in Iowa with mental health and grief counseling, plus Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) & Narcotics Anonymous (NA) and multiply physical needs drives such as coats and toys.
• Fighting poverty and offering hope locally through The Well in Pella, Iowa that works to empower people by utilizing their God-given abilities to have long-term stability in their lives.
• Working with multiple other organizations including Meals from the Heartland, Bidwell Riverside Center, Des Moines Dream Center, Freedom for Youth Ministries, and many more. Countless small groups explore faith, and the Bible and hold each other in prayer and accountability to deepen relationships with each other and God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.
