Service Details
Funeral services for Layla Grace Varnadoe, 5 weeks, of Camilla will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00AM at Willis-Jamerson-Braswell Funeral Home. Bro. Billy Smith will officiate. Born December 11, 2017 she was the daughter of Tyrell Haggins and Ivy Danielle Varnadoe who survive. Layla passed away Monday, January 15, 2018 at Phoebe Putney Hospital. Other survivors include maternal grandparents, Brentt and Valarie Humphries of Camilla and Robbie and Shelby Varnadoe of Pelham; Maternal great grandparents, Marvin and Mary Ann Hooks of Pelham and Scott and Tina Humphries of Meigs; Aunts Mia Varnadoe and Kinsley Humphries; uncle Luke Humphries and a number of great aunts and uncles along with cousins that loved her very much. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00-11:00AM.

Services for Charles E. Martin, 86, of Pelham will be held Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Cornerstone Assembly of God at 2:00PM. The Rev. Billy Smith will officiate and interment will be in Akridge Cemetery at a later date. Born October 7, 1931 in Pebble City he was the son of the late John and Alice Beatrice Turner Martin. Mr. Martin passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Georgia War Veterans Home in Milledgeville. He was a retired Truck drive with Willis Farms. He was married to Doris Cooper Martin who preceded him in death. Survivors include a son, Michael Martin (Pat) of Pelham; daughter, Beverly Shrewsbury (Kirk) of Peachtree City; step-children, Diane Chastain of Pelham; Dollie Grant (Burt) of Pelham; Dixie Jenkins of Moultrie and Dave Gamble (Sally Kay Bristol) of Bainbridge; numerous grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
