The Loving Presence of Jesus Christ Shared With All. God calls us to love Him with all our hearts, soul, and mind. (Matthew 6:12)

(Matthew 22:37), Through Jesus Christ our Savior we come to love God. (John 3:16, 17) God commands us to love everyone. (Matthew 22:39) God commands us to live by His Word and share the Good News (Matthew 28: 19-20) We are to live, grow, and be empowered by the Holy Spirit. (John 14:26) The Bible is God's truth. (2 Timothy 3:16,17 Matthew 4:4) Through the grace of Jesus Christ we learn to forgive as we have been forgiven.

We do not get to decide who deserves God’s mercy. ❤️

Nineveh was violent, wicked, and guilty—and yet when the people heard God’s Word, they repented and God showed them mercy.

That should remind us of something important: we are not the owners of God’s grace. We are recipients of it.

Because Jesus took the judgment we deserved, there is mercy for guilty people who turn to Him. ✝️

God never intended the Christian life to be lived alone. Epaphroditus reminds us to thank God for the brothers, sisters, co-workers, and fellow servants he places beside us.

Do you need a rescue? 🌊

In Sunday’s sermon, “Salvation Belongs to the Lord,” Rev. Jon Lilley preached from Jonah 2 and reminded us that we cannot swim our way out of sin, guilt, and failure.

Like Jonah, we have to surrender to the One who can actually save us.

Jesus did not stand safely on the shore and shout instructions. He entered the depths, bore our judgment, and rose again to bring helpless sinners home. ✝️

Salvation belongs to the Lord! 🙌

Where are you still saying “no” to God? 🏃‍♂️

In Sunday’s sermon from Jonah 1, Rev. Jon Lilley reminded us that we can make excuses, ignore God’s Word, and try to run—but we cannot outrun the Lord.

The good news is that the God who confronts our rebellion is also the God who comes after us in mercy. Jesus entered the judgment our rebellion deserved to bring us home. ✝️

Stop running. Surrender. And trust the mercy of Christ. 🙏

Spiritual growth does not ultimately depend on the strength of my willpower. Philippians 2:13 reminds me that God himself is at work within me, shaping both my desires and my obedience.
