Annual Conference season is upon us. Look for the Foundation at the South Georgia Annual Conference in Macon and North Georgia Annual Conference in Athens.

Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Coppedge-Henley offers a reflection on these gatherings, ā€œHoly conferencing, as a means of grace, reminds believers of our great mission: to make disciples for Jesus Christ. This mission is too big for one person, one church, one conference, or even one denomination, to accomplish. It takes all of us. It takes all of us committing to a cause greater than self and unifying for the sake of our mission.ā€

The Foundation Board of Trustees met this week in Peachtree Corners. Among several agenda items and board business was also a moment to thank outgoing Board Chair Chuck Bachman for his leadership.

We also share gratitude for other members reaching the end of their term, including Robert Beckum, Lisa White, and Rev. Will Zant.

Additionally, the Board voted on a new slate of members who will be confirmed and announced in July by incoming Board Chair Bill Daniel.
