Join us this morning at 11:00 for worship at Pea Ridge United Methodist Church, 1209 N Davis St, Pea Ridge, as we also pause to honor the fathers and father figures in our lives on this Father's Day.

Pastor Jerome Grotts will bring a message titled "Dead to Sin, Alive to God" from Romans 6:1b-11. In this passage, Paul is answering a question some in the early church were asking: if grace covers our sin, why not just keep sinning so grace can keep increasing? Paul's answer is that this misses the point of what happened at the cross. Through baptism, believers are united with Christ in his death and raised to walk in newness of life. The old self, bound to sin, has been put to death, and we are now alive to God in Christ Jesus. It's a passage about identity: not who we used to be, but who we are now because of what Christ has done.

It's a message of grace, peace, and hope that holds firm even through life's hardest moments.

We'll also be celebrating the sacrament of Holy Communion together as a church family.
